The Progressive is in trouble!

Many may already know about The Progressive, but it's a very old non-profit, liberal news magazine that showcases tons of great illustrations. This year is their 100th, but it also may be their last, since along with many other publications they are having difficulty staying afloat. But YOU can help. You can easily make donations on their website. I realize that many of us artist types are broke as crap right now, but even small donations can help. It would be terrible to lose such a great magazine like The Progressive. Give back to an organization that has supported illustration for so long. Donate here!

After some delay Rebecca's animated short has finally made its way online!!



The film has just started to be shown in festivals and has already received many accolades. Including the award for best Experimental Film in NYC's Animation Block Party. She is currently working on Pug Davis, which will soon be hitting comic stores with its first collected volume.

Those That Is Damned

While digging around at the Comic store this weekend I was extremely surprised to find Rebecca's three page backup and my eight page backup both in the newest Goon trade. These shorts are well over a year old, but its still extremely exciting to have another book of the shelf at the comic store. So if you're like me and too lazy to hunt down back issues and too weirded out to buy an anthology with Myspace in the title, this book might be for you.

"Repressed IV: May Day was a self-initiated exhibition on workers’ rights that Mended Arrow co-curated and opened on May Day or International Workers’ Day.
